In a large city with a lot happening, a woman who was in a hurry to get to work yelled at a senior citizen “WATCH IT GRANDMA!!” the old lady turned to her and said ” Actually, I am not a grandma, I left my family to visit my sick sister in Rochester NY. She died there. I was very close with her as well as my immediate family. Until I returned to give them the mournful news……..” by then the woman had no time to waste listening to the story but as patient as she was being she let her finish ” I was too late, I had lost my dog, cat, my home and my 3 beautiful children and THEIR grandchildren” by the time she could finish her story the elder lady was already in tears. ” I had lost my….-my…my everything!” “so NO I AM NOT A GRANDMOTHER ….anymore and now I have to attend a therapy class almost everyday because of my stress created- Alzheimer’s condition .” so the next time you call someone of grey hair with a slow shaky step, ‘geyser,Grandpa, or grandma’ think about what u just read. before the woman could apologize the old lady was gone .However, the young woman picked up a necklace she dropped and opened it. Inside there was a message and a picture, ‘to my dearest loved one, not even a disaster as big as the moon crashing into the earth cud break us apart’ -George 7/45-9/11
